What's the venue address?
We will provide the location of the space once a space visit has been organized or the booking has been confirmed. Otherwise, we can provide the cross streets for reference.
What will be the full price?
You will be quoted for the space rental (rental category X headcount) + two mandatory fees: a cleaning fee + the Casa Manager fee. Your quote will be given before you book the space.
Do I need a certificate of insurance?
COI is mandatory for all companies that book us for productions, offsite meetings, and events. For individuals, we can offer trusted, affordable COI suppliers.
Where can I stage equipment?
Depending on your shot list or run of show, we have a couple of different recommendations. The most frequently used entrance to the property is through the door on the garden level – clients usually prefer to use this access point for load-in to avoid the stairs leading up to the property’s main entrance. However, if you are planning to use the garden level, then we would recommend loading in through the main entrance of the house, which would be up the stairs and on the first floor. There is a main living area and a parlor room that can be used for staging. Your Booking Manager can help you coordinate the best staging area for your booking once we have all the details for your production or event.
Is there a TV or Projector?
The space has been designed with the goal of creating a relaxed and calm environment, free of screens or any major technological distractions. If you need a screen of any kind for your offsite meeting or event (TV, projector, etc.), our Super Concierge Team can coordinate a one-time rental for you.
Can I use tents in the backyard?
Yes – usage of tents in the backyard for your production or to plan for potential bad weather during your event is allowed. Please make sure to inform your Booking Manager and if need, ask for a rental quotation from our multiple partner vendors.
Do you have noise or equipment limitations?
As per the Mayor’s office, all residential spaces must end events by 11PM. Media Productions and Meetings don’t have a specific end-time restriction as long as they don’t impact the neighbors. If an Event is taking place in the backyard, we always ask our clients to be aware of the noise levels so that we don’t affect the day-to-day of our neighbors. Our Casa Manager will always be on-site to help you manage the sound levels so that you can enjoy with your guests without disturbing the neighborhood.
As far as equipment is concerned, we don’t have any specific restrictions as long as it doesn’t pose a risk to the property. We do limit the use of smoke/fog machines to those that operate with water-based products only. You will have to notify your Booking Manager in advance if you plan on using smoke/fog machines, any FX tools, and any special equipment that may impact the property. This way, our Team can coordinate as needed and discuss best practices with you beforehand to avoid any damages.
Do I have access to the full space?
For Media Productions, Off-site Meetings, and Showrooms, you will have access to all the areas shown in the listing. The property has a top floor that is off-limits and not pictured in the listing. For Events, we will give access to the ground floor and first floor to all guests, and maintain the bedroom floors to you and your closest friends and family only.
Can I put lights outside?
Yes – you may install lights outside in the front yard or backyard, but please communicate this with your Booking Manager beforehand or with your Casa Manager on-site so that we can help you install them with no impact to the property or to the neighbors.
Can I move artwork and/or furniture?
Our goal is always to help you accomplish your vision and that includes allowing you to move things around for the perfect shot or to accommodate your guests the way you want for your Meeting, Event, or Showroom. Artwork and furniture may be moved, but we require you to first communicate with your Booking Manager in advance if you have an idea of what needs to move prior to your booking. If it is a last minute decision, please coordinate any moves with your Casa Manager during the reservation, so that we can coordinate the best way to move and store the items with no damage.
Do you have power in the backyard?
Yes – we have three outlets spread throughout the backyard that is available for you to use.
Is the artwork cleared?
A large majority of the artwork on the property is cleared. Please communicate with your Booking Manager when you have an idea of specific pieces that need to be cleared for your production so they can confirm that we have pre-clearance and will work to get approval from the artists for your project.
Can I shoot on the first floor balcony?
Unfortunately, the first floor balcony does not have any railing, so usage of this balcony is forbidden for all Productions, Events, and Meetings.
Can I cook in the kitchen for my event or production?
Yes – the kitchen is a fully working kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances and amenities. You are more than welcome to use the kitchen for your Production, Event, Meeting, and/or Showroom. Please communicate with your Booking Manager about usage of any utensils and dishware – as they may be off-limits per the property owner. Our Team can coordinate simple and inexpensive rentals for you if what you need is not available on-site.
Can I use the fireplace?
While we do not allow usage of the fireplace for any Events, Meetings, or Showrooms due to risk of injury, for specific Media Productions, we may grant permission of usage of the fireplace upon reviewing your shot list and team that will be handling the operation. Usage of the fireplace may only be permitted under Casa Manager supervision.
Do you have a laundry room?
Yes – there is a laundry room and it will be available for your Media Production.
Do you have air conditioning?
Yes – there is central AC and heat on the property. We have three separate systems – one for each floor.
How fast is your WiFi speed?
We have WiFi speed up to 380 mbps.
Are there screens / speakers available for my reservation?
We have 4 portable Bluetooth speakers available for you to use. If you need additional speakers or sound-system, our Super Concierge team can coordinate a rental for you. We don’t have any screens available in the space, but our Super Concierge Team can coordinate a screens rental for your booking.
