Inspired by the pink exterior of NYC’s renowned Palazzo Chupi, Casa Maxima is a 3,200 sq./ft. palatial paradise in Manhattan’s trendy TriBeCa neighborhood.
Exuding glam and luxury, Casa Maxima is a grand, creative space filled with notable art and accented with colorful finishes like gold columns, dark teal curtains and cabinetry, and pink Venetian plaster throughout.
Casa Maxima features a living space with a grand piano, three bedrooms, a sitting room, a full kitchen with island, a private study, and three bathrooms.
BEST USE OF SPACE
Casa Maxima hosts up to 74 guests, perfect for private events like birthday parties, dinners, weddings and receptions, and much more. Located on the 5th floor of a former print factory, Casa Maxima also features thick concrete floors and heavy metal entry doors, well insulated for sound and ideal for filming and productions.
Casa Maxima’s spacious open layout, abundance of natural light, and various rooms provide a fitting space for showrooms and a creative space for meetings.
Pricing Disclaimer
The prices shown are our minimum before qualifying your reservation. Additional fees may apply once we have a full understanding of your project, such as: total number of attendees, start and end time of your reservation, vehicles involved (production), the amount of EQ to load in/out, etc. We will provide a quick questionnaire and a full quote before you book the space.
Cleaning Fee
We clean the space before and after each booking to guarantee the space is immaculate for you. Cleaning fees for this space start at $250/1-day booking and vary depending on whether you are booking an event, an offsite meeting, production, or showroom; guest and/or crew size, equipment loading in/out, and more.
Don’t worry, the full cleaning fee will be clearly stated before you book the space.
Casa Manager Fee
One of our selected expert Casa Managers, Cocoon’s official on-site reps, will be on-site – but out of your way – at all times to overview your booking. As experts in that venue and trained in your rental type, they will be your main POC, welcome you in the space, help you load in and out, set up, and guide you through the space in case you need any assistance. Fees start at $375/1-day booking.

What's the venue address?
We will provide the location of the space once a space visit has been organized or the booking has been confirmed. Otherwise, we can provide the cross streets and neighborhood for reference.
Is there an elevator at this location?
Yes – there is a freight elevator at this location.
Are booties required for my media production rental?
Yes – we require either booties or shoes-off at this location. We will provide booties for all your team members. For Events and offsite meetings, we do not require booties.
Do we have access to the freight elevator?
Yes, you will have access to the freight elevator however the elevator requires 48 business hours notice in order to schedule. The hours of operation are 9:00am to 5:00pm and in order to access the freight elevator, you’ll need to use the loading dock behind the building. To access the loading dock, please first check-in with the front desk and they will direct you around back – there is not a separate address for the loading dock.
What hours are the freight access?
Hours of operation are 9am to 5pm Monday – Friday; weekends are not possible. Earlier load-in times and later load-in times may be possible but require advance permission from the building.
How do I access the freight elevator?
Access requires loading in through the loading dock behind the building. The loading dock doesn’t have a separate address, so it’ll require the front desk to direct you around back.
Does the freight require an operator?
The freight does not require an operator.
How many bedrooms are there?
There are three bedrooms.
What are the bed sizes?
1 King Bed, 2 Full Beds
Is the piano tuned?
Unfortunately, no – the piano has not been tuned in the last year.
How many bathrooms do you have in the space?
3 full bathrooms
Do you have A/C and/or central heat?
Yes, the space does have A/C and central heat.
Can I cook in the kitchen for my event or production?
Yes – the kitchen is a fully working kitchen. You are more than welcome to use the kitchen for your Production, Event, Meeting, and/or Showroom. If you need to use the kitchen, please make sure to let your Booking Manager know in advance so that they can ensure everything is ready for you upon check-in. If you need any utensils and dishware, please let your Booking Manager know as well as they may be off-limits per the property owner. Our Concierge Team can coordinate simple and inexpensive rentals for you if what you need is not available on-site.
Is the artwork cleared?
Some of the artwork has been cleared, but we ask that you advise beforehand which pieces you want to feature and our Operations team can work on getting permission.
Is there noise from the street?
This is an old printing factory so the walls are thick. Not completely sound proof but generally quiet.
Can I use the fireplace?
While we do not allow usage of the fireplace for any Events, Meetings, or Showrooms due to risk of injury, for specific Media Productions, we may grant permission of usage of the fireplace upon reviewing your shot list and team that will be handling the operation. Usage of the fireplace may only be permitted under Casa Manager supervision.
Where can I stage my equipment?
Depending on your shot list or run of show, we have a couple of different recommendations. Your Booking Manager can help you coordinate the best staging area for your booking once we have all the details for your production or event.
What sound system do you have?
There are several Sonos throughout the house. To connect, please download the sonos app and connect to the house wifi.
