Inspired by the pink exterior of NYC’s renowned Palazzo Chupi, Casa Maxima is a 3,200 sq./ft. palatial paradise in Manhattan’s trendy TriBeCa neighborhood. 

Exuding glam and luxury, Casa Maxima is a grand, creative space filled with notable art and accented with colorful finishes like gold columns, dark teal curtains and cabinetry, and pink Venetian plaster throughout. 

Casa Maxima features a living space with a grand piano, three bedrooms, a sitting room, a full kitchen with island, a private study, and three bathrooms.

BEST USE OF SPACE

Casa Maxima hosts up to 74 guests, perfect for private events like birthday parties, dinners, weddings and receptions, and much more. Located on the 5th floor of a former print factory, Casa Maxima also features thick concrete floors and heavy metal entry doors, well insulated for sound and ideal for filming and productions.

Casa Maxima’s spacious open layout, abundance of natural light, and various rooms provide a fitting space for showrooms and a creative space for meetings.

Pricing Disclaimer

The prices shown are our minimum before qualifying your reservation. Additional fees may apply once we have a full understanding of your project, such as: total number of attendees, start and end time of your reservation, vehicles involved (production), the amount of EQ to load in/out, etc. We will provide a quick questionnaire and a full quote before you book the space.

Cleaning Fee

We clean the space before and after each booking to guarantee the space is immaculate for you. Cleaning fees for this space start at $250/1-day booking and vary depending on whether you are booking an event, an offsite meeting, production, or showroom; guest and/or crew size, equipment loading in/out, and more.
Don’t worry, the full cleaning fee will be clearly stated before you book the space.

Casa Manager Fee

One of our selected expert Casa Managers, Cocoon’s official on-site reps, will be on-site – but out of your way – at all times to overview your booking. As experts in that venue and trained in your rental type, they will be your main POC, welcome you in the space, help you load in and out, set up, and guide you through the space in case you need any assistance. Fees start at $375/1-day booking.

Casa Maxima FAQs

What's the venue address?

We will provide the location of the space once a space visit has been organized or the booking has been confirmed. Otherwise, we can provide the cross streets and neighborhood for reference.

Is there an elevator?

Yes – there are elevators at this location. There is one passenger elevator and one freight elevator.

Do I have access to the freight elevator?

Yes, you will have access to the freight elevator however the elevator requires 48 business hours notice in order to schedule. The hours of operation are 9:00am to 5:00pm and in order to access the freight elevator, you’ll need to use the loading dock behind the building. To access the loading dock, please first check-in with the front desk and they will direct you around back – there is not a separate address for the loading dock.

Do you have central AC and heating?

Yes, there is central A/C and heat in the home all controlled by thermostats.

Is there a TV or Projector onsite?

Yes, there are two TV screens in total – one in the sitting room and one in the primary bedroom. If you need any additional screens, please reach out to our Concierge team.

Is the artwork cleared?

Some of the artwork has been cleared, but we ask that you advise beforehand which pieces you want to feature and our Operations team can work on getting permission.

Can I cook in the kitchen for my event or production?

Yes – the kitchen is a fully working kitchen. You are more than welcome to use the kitchen for your Production, Event, Meeting, and/or Showroom. If you need to use the kitchen, please make sure to let your Booking Manager know in advance so that they can ensure everything is ready for you upon check-in. If you need any utensils and dishware, please let your Booking Manager know as well as they may be off-limits per the property owner. Our Concierge Team can coordinate simple and inexpensive rentals for you if what you need is not available on-site.

Do you have tables and chairs on site that I can use?

Many of our spaces have plenty of seating options for a wide range of guest counts. For spaces that don’t have chairs or tables available for your guest count, our Concierge Team will be able to provide quotes within your budget for rentals of additional chairs and tables.

Can the furniture and art be moved?

Yes – our goal is always to help you accomplish your vision and that includes allowing you to move things around for the perfect shot or to accommodate your guests the way you want for your Meeting, Event, or Showroom.

Artwork and furniture may be moved, but we require you to first communicate with your Booking Manager in advance if you have an idea of what needs to move prior to your booking. If it is a last minute decision, please coordinate any moves with your Casa Manager during the reservation, so that we can coordinate the best way to move and store the items with no damage.

How many bedrooms are there?

There are three bedrooms. 

What are the bed sizes?

There is 1 King bed in the primary bedroom, and two Full beds in the other bedrooms. 

How many bathrooms are there?

There are three full bathrooms.

Do I have access to the full space?

Yes, you will have access to the full space.

What sound system do you have?

There are several Sonos throughout the house. To connect, please download the sonos app and connect to the house wifi.

What’s included in the cleaning services listed on all reservation quotes?

We do a cleaning of the entire space before and after your event. This cleaning includes the floors, all surfaces, bathrooms, and all rooms accessible during your booking. This does not include dishes, laundry, or resetting furniture. At the end of the day, all cans, cups, food waste, and disposable items should be separated into their proper receptacles and our Cleaning Team will take care of the rest.
